EVENT - Free online presentation "Understanding the complexity of feeding and eating"

This Workshop will describe the complexity of feeding from a multidisciplinary perspective and outline each of the seven areas of human function that should be assessed and addressed any time we work with a child who has a feeding, eating and/or growth challenge.

Introduction of how many different things you need to think about, when children are not eating well.

 

o   Why children become Picky Eaters? (Fussy Eaters – whatever these children are called in your country the most)

o   Learn about how complicated eating and feeding are

o   Get practical ideas about how to help picky eaters

o   Learn about picky eating and how to help from an expert Feeding Therapist, Dr. Kay Toomey, developer of the SOS Approach to Feeding
